For the past five years I've been working with hybrid forms. Starting with chess like forms, my work is now moving toward a more personal or inner reality.  Some of the elements are found, then mixed with sculpted elements, then becoming something other, ambiguously offsetting. Designer Drone for example is a transforming piece with a classical sphinx aspect offset with modern variations.  It perhaps echoes fantastical creatures of Ovid's Metamorphoses with modern considerations of technological amplification.

This is a vein I hope to pursue further.  More to come.
